"Indian Summer" (oil/panel, 10x10) is accepted into the Falmouth Artist Guild's "Fall Juried Show" and
wins " Best Oil" !! The show is held at the Falmouth Art Center in Falmouth, MA and runs from
Sept. 20 - Oct. 15. The opening reception is Sun., Sept, 27, 2p,m, - 4 p.m. with art inspired floral arrangements by the Falmouth Garden Club.

"Corvo" (which means crow in Italian ) is my first mosaic piece and is exhibited at the Falmouth Artist Guild's "Best of The Guild" show, a student/faculty/member show. The show is held at the Falmouth Art Center in Falmouth, MA and runs from Aug. 23 - Sept. 13.

"Corvo" has also been accepted into The Mosaic Yearbook 2009.
(This summer, I took a mosaics class at the Falmouth Art Center with instructor, Jim Bowen. I designed and created this 12"x12", mosaic crow using stained glass tesserae. Very enjoyable and now I'm hooked on yet another art form! )

31st Annual Cataumet Artists Fair, Sunday, Aug, 9, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
(Another "first time" experience for me, displaying my paintings at an outdoor art fair! I hope to do it again next summer.)
The Cataumet Art Center is a lovely little gem tucked away amongst the quaint Buzzards Bay village of Cataumet, MA, located at 76 Scraggy Neck Rd. A friendly and talented group of artists.

"View From A Bridge" (oil/panel, 16x20) is accepted and shown at the Hudson Valley Art Association's 78th Annual Exhibition held at the Ridgewood Art Institute, Ridgewood, NJ, July 2 - 26, 2009.
The HVAA was originally formed in 1928 at the studio of American landscape painter, Jasper F. Cropsey, by a group of talented landscape artists also referred to as the Hudson River School of Painters.
This is the first time I've entered an HVAA show and am honored to be part of this historical American Art tradition!
